Do you have a trade-in? Orthoflex will accept a trade-in, OF ANY BRAND, toward the purchase of any new Orthoflex CUSTOM saddle. This excludes the Orthoflex Vanilla Stock saddles.
To get an offer of trade-in value on your saddle, the following information must be supplied:
The Brand Name and Model Name or Number (if known) of your trade-in.
The age of the trade-in saddle.
The selling price new (if known), or your used purchase price.
Good quality pictures, either 35mm or digital.
Give your rating of the saddle as follows:
D. Poor - Major leather wear, leather dry rot, major repairs needed.
C. Worn - Rubs, some strap wear but useable, minor repairs needed.
B. Good - Minor abrasions, good leather, including good leather color. Well maintained.
A. Excellent - New quality. No rubs, dings, or wear streaks, well maintained.
If you are buying through an Authorized Orthoflex Dealer, give this information to your dealer who will process it or, if no dealer, e-mail to customsaddles@ortho-flex.com or mail the information to Orthoflex, attention of the Sales Manager.
Upon receipt of the information, we will give an estimated trade-in allowance, subject to factory inspection. If the estimated allowance is acceptable, Orthoflex will issue a RA Control Number for the shipment of the saddle to us. The expense of shipping to us is your responsibility.
The estimated trade-in allowance could change after the saddle is physically inspected, at the factory. After the factory inspection, a final trade-in value is given. If the final trade-in allowance is less than the estimated given to you and you choose to not accept the final trade-in value, the saddle will be shipped back to you, at our expense.
The trade-in becomes the property of Orthoflex to apply to your new order price when the final factory allowance is confirmed at the estimated amount after factory inspection, or when you accept the revised (if any) final factory trade-in value.
